A High Thermal Conductivity of MgO-H2O Nanofluid Prepared by Two-Step Technique

In this paper, the main goal is to study impact of nanopowder volume concentration and ultrasonication treatment time on stability thermophysical properties MgO-DW nanofluid at room temperature. The co-precipitation method was utilized prepare pure MgO nanoparticles with an average particle size 33 nm. prepared characterized by using XRD, SEM, EDX analyses. Then, obtained different concentrations (i.e., 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 vol.%) periods 45, 90, 135, 180 min) a novel two-step technique. With 0.15 vol.% min, respectively, good achieved, according zeta potential analysis. increasing period samples, thermal conductivity measurements showed significant increases. As result, maximum enhancement found be 25.08% ratio agitation min. Dynamic viscosity revealed two contrasting trends time. lowest value relative gained 0.05 nanofluid. chemical physical interactions between DW molecules play important function in determining dynamic These findings exhibit that has used as advanced heat transfer fluid cooling systems exchangers.
